Use our color anodizing prcess for parts that need to stand out or are required to be a certain color. Parts are dyed during the anodizing process to produce a consistent finish with vibrant color.

A&E Anodizing offers aluminum anodizing in many colors: clear, black, purple, gold, red, blue and green (Type II, Class II).

Anodizing with dye color offers vibrant colors with intensities that cannot be matched by any other paint method in the market. It is not the same as paint or powder coating. They can also provide excellent weather-fastness and light-fastness. Color and shade is dependent on the metal used, surface texture and the processing conditions . In the color dye process there are many variables that can affect the color:

• Anodic coating thickness
• Type of dye and the concentration of the solution
• Temperature of solutions
• Etching process used
• Time in each process
• Size and number of the parts in the bath
• Current density variation

We maintain a high level of quality by closely controlling the process and creating strict procedures to ensure consistency on all of the parts we anodize.
